Software & Product Engineering
Software that is still good in five years.
We build web platforms, mobile apps and SaaS products for founders and operators who need dependable software, not a prototype that has to be rewritten at the first sign of growth. Sound architecture, security by default and a data model ready for AI from day one.
Good fit when
Where this work pays off
- Founders taking a validated idea to a production-grade product
- Businesses replacing spreadsheets and legacy tools with a purpose-built internal system
- Product teams that need senior engineering capacity without the hiring lag
- Companies modernising an older application before adding AI to it
What we build
What you get: products built for the long run
- Web platforms and SaaS
- Products with sign-in, billing, roles and admin tools built in from the start, ready for many customers on one system.
- Mobile applications
- Apps for iOS and Android from one codebase that share logic with your web product and work reliably on Indian networks.
- Internal systems
- Operations, inventory, field and back-office tools shaped around how your business actually runs.
- Modernisation
- Step-by-step migration of older systems with no risky single cutover and no lost data.
How it works
From product discovery to launch
Product discovery
Users, workflows and constraints first. A roadmap with what ships in the first release.
Architecture
Data model, security model and integrations designed before the first screen.
Delivery in slices
Working software every two weeks, with demos and real feedback shaping the next slice.
Launch and support
Deployment, monitoring, documentation and a support model that fits your team.
A typical first engagement
What you need to bring
Discovery is a fixed-fee phase that ends in a written plan and a costed prototype scope. You can take that plan anywhere.
- Someone with authority to make product decisions weekly
- Access to the users or staff the product is for
- Existing systems, data or designs the product must work with
Tools we typically reach for, chosen per project for fit and portability: TypeScript, React / Next.js, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, React Native / Flutter, Docker, AWS / Cloudflare.
Frequently asked questions
Do you take fixed-price projects?
For well-defined scopes, yes. For products that will evolve, we recommend a fixed-fee discovery phase followed by milestone-based delivery with an agreed monthly cap.
Who owns the code?
You do. All source code, infrastructure and documentation is delivered in your own repositories and cloud accounts. What Genesis keeps is general know-how and internal tooling that contains none of your code or data.
Can you work with our existing team?
Yes. We regularly work alongside in-house engineers, share reviews and standards, and hand over cleanly when the engagement ends.
Not sure which service fits?
Describe the problem in a few lines. We will tell you honestly whether it is an AI, data, automation or software problem, and what a sensible first step looks like.
